Hopton Hall

Hopton Hall is a Grade II listed stately home based in the Derbyshire Dales. Its grounds and café open to visitors on a seasonal basis for the Snowdrop Walk in February and, in July, for the Month of Art and Walled Garden.

It was bought as a family home by husband and wife Chris and Andi Harvey in 2023 with two goals in mind: to restore the 16th century manor house and its grounds; and to continue providing the best and friendliest of welcomes for visitors to its seasonal events, and to its cottage guests.

Beyond the Hall, the couple are committed to bringing historical buildings and pubs back to life, making sure that high streets remain diverse and that pubs are not lost forever. They have so far renovated over 40 historic buildings (including the new Hopton Hall Gallery in Ashbourne) and pubs, working together with hospitality and retail tenants in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
