We’re delighted to share that BPD member David Brown of Hoe Grange Holidays, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Net Zero 50 List 2025 — a national celebration of individuals driving meaningful climate action across the UK. Located in Matlock, Hoe Grange Holidays offers stylish dog friendly, self-catering log cabins, two gorgeous glamping pods, horse holidays and a romantic gypsy caravan.
David has earned his place among the top 100 nominees, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with influential politicians, academics, and corporate leaders. His nomination recognises not only the significant progress Hoe Grange has made on its own journey towards Net Zero, but also the wider impact of David’s work supporting other businesses to reduce their environmental footprint.
From 1-to-1 sustainability mentoring to speaking at major events — including our very own BPD Sustainability Summit in March 2025 — David has consistently shared his knowledge, passion, and practical experience to help others take meaningful climate action.
As a proud local business, we’re thrilled to see his work recognised on a national stage. His nomination alongside such high-profile figures highlights an important message: small businesses can be a powerful force for good.
The final 50 names will be chosen by public vote, and as local business based right here in the Peak District, we would be grateful if you would consider showing your support. To vote for David, follow the link: https://awards.digileaders.com/NetZero50-Vote
