The Derbyshire Dales District Council Corporate Plan is the key policy document that will influence the allocation of resources during the next four years and we’d like the views of businesses in the Derbyshire Dales to help shape it. The plan will reflect the Council’s ‘One Team, One Council, One Purpose’ approach and will seek to deliver in 3 key areas:
People : Doing things better for you by improving the services we provide
Place : Keeping the Derbyshire Dales clean, green and safe
Prosperity : Supporting better jobs and homes for you
Regarding Prosperity: Supporting better jobs and homes:
1. What projects do you think the Council should implement over the next 4 years to help achieve this vision?
2. Looking at the potential projects already identified, what are your views on each of these and is there anything you would like to add?
- Invest resources in key employment sites
- Support new and existing businesses with free advice
- Make it easier for you to do business with us through our procurement
- Build up to 50 new Council homes to rent
