Baslow-based Opera PR & Communications has been appointed by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) to provide on-going communications support for their East Midlands and West Midlands regional offices.

Reporting to the director for both regions, the appointment includes press and media relations, providing support for their regional events, photography and video production.

Commenting on the appointment Opera PR & Communciation’s director, Simon Turton, said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by the ICE, who appreciate our flexibility, the range of services offered and that we can respond to their communications requirements at very short notice.

“We have already supported a number of events, including an open day for school children at the National College for High Speed Rail in Bimroingham and a joint anniversary celebration with the RAF at the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln. At both events we looked after all photography and also produced videos that will be used by the ICE to promote future events and to support their media relations objectives.”
